Thumbnail Name Description Unique mechanics / Starting equipment Modifiers Health Points
Custos Custos The Custos stand where others would fall, bearing the weight of war upon shield and steel. They do not evade the strike, nor do they yield to it - they meet it head-on, unshaken in purpose. Their armor is not a burden, but a foundation. With every layer of protection, they grow harder to break, turning defense into strength and endurance into dominance. They are not meant to move past the battlefield. They are meant to hold it. Armor increases Damage through the Armor-to-Damage conversion. Update v0.6 set this conversion to 1% Damage per point of Armor. Attack Speed -24%, Health Points +50, Armor +6, Dodge -100% +50
Incendius Incendius The Incendius have embraced the purifying flame, wielding it as an instrument of judgment rather than destruction. Through discipline and ritual, their fire is guided, not wild - a force that consumes the unworthy and reshapes the battlefield in its wake. Wherever they advance, the ground itself is set ablaze, and few endure what follows. Starts with Ignition Bullets, replacing the earlier Inferno Core starting upgrade. Holy Damage -24%, Fire Damage +24%, Electric Damage -24%, Health Points +30 +30
Judicator Judicator When faith is tested, the Judicators charge into battle like an unstoppable storm, crushing heretics beneath their relentless onslaught. Their sacred mission is simple-cleanse the land of corruption with blade and steel, granting no mercy and no chance for redemption. Specializes in melee combat. See the Modifiers column for the melee bonus and ranged damage penalty. Melee Damage +24%, Range Damage -12%, Health Points +30, Speed +4% +30
Martyr Martyr The Martyrs have bound themselves to the Crux, drawing power not from strength, but from sacrifice. Where others seek to control the battlefield, they surrender to it - allowing faith and suffering to shape what surrounds them. Their presence turns ground into consecrated space, where the will of the Order manifests through the Cross. Power flows outward, not from the body, but from the burden they carry. What they gain is never without cost. And they do not turn away from it Starts with Penance Cycler, which reduces skill cooldown on kill. Can run while carrying objects. Crux Slam scales with Crux Range. The Cursed Update tripled the damage of the character skill. Damage -12%, Critical Chance -18%, Range -28%, Health Points +50, Armor -3, XP Gain +36% +50
Primaris Primaris The Primaris remember the beginning, when faith alone shaped what the Templars would become. They remain bound to tradition, rejecting mechanical augmentation and relying solely on their own bodies, discipline, and purpose. What others seek through machines, they achieve through training. They wield weapons of immense weight and endure where others would falter, standing firm against whatever comes. They do not rush. They do not break. Uses a single weapon. The documented limits are 36 weapon upgrades and 12 different Blessing types. The Blessing limit applies to distinct types, not the total number of copies. Once the type limit is reached, further Blessing offers are duplicates of selected types. Damage -35%, Health Points +30, Speed -4% +30
Silent Sister Silent Sister Chosen by the Reverend Mother herself, the Silent Sisters serve as her unseen hand - precise, disciplined, and beyond reach. They abandon the weight of armor, embracing vulnerability as a path to mastery. With less to shield them, they become harder to strike, their bodies slipping beyond the grasp of those who would bring them down. What they surrender in protection, they reclaim through perfect execution, their strikes growing deadlier with every evasion. They are not meant to withstand the blow. They are meant to deny it. Negative Armor increases Dodge Chance, while positive Armor reduces it. Dodge increases Damage through the Dodge-to-Damage conversion, set to 1% Damage per 1% Dodge in update v0.6. Maximum Dodge Chance is 90%. Damage -24%, Melee Damage -24%, Range Damage +12%, Health Points +20, Armor -6, Speed +8% +20
Spectre Spectre Shrouded in mystery and blessed with the speed of light itself, the Spectres are the unseen hand of the Order. Through divine technology, they traverse the battlefield in flashes of radiant energy, striking before the enemy can react. To witness their passage is to glimpse a fleeting judgment - an afterimage of holy vengeance searing into the flesh of the unworthy. Starts with Wounding Bullets, replacing the earlier Divine Core starting upgrade. Holy Damage +24%, Fire Damage -24%, Electric Damage -24%, Health Points +30 +30
Synthar Synthar The Synthar have turned away from the burden of steel-bound arms, replacing them with constructs that move at their command. Their presence is never singular - drones follow in measured delay, echoing each movement with calculated precision. What begins with the Templar does not end with them, as the battlefield bends to a will extended beyond the body. Uses drones that follow the Templar and echo movements with a delay, extending the character beyond the main body. Damage +6%, Range +14%, Health Points +30, Armor -3, Resources +12%, XP Gain +18% +30
Voltaris Voltaris Among the Order, the Voltaris are those who have embraced the sacred current that binds flesh to machine. Through ritual and augmentation, they have become vessels of divine energy, wielding lightning as an instrument of judgment. They move as sudden flashes across the battlefield, their presence marked only by thunder and ruin. Starts with Shock Bullets, replacing the earlier Storm Core starting upgrade. Holy Damage -24%, Fire Damage -24%, Electric Damage +24%, Health Points +30 +30
Warden Warden The first guardians of the sacred Order, the Wardens stand unshaken, bound by duty and faith. They do not seek refuge in mechanical augmentation, for the body is a temple, and only through discipline can it be perfected. Their strength is their devotion, their swiftness a testament to their training-shadows that move with divine purpose, unyielding in their watch. Available from the start without requiring an unlock. Damage +6%, Critical Chance +9%, Range -14%, Health Points +40 +40
